JUR KAND

Alexandra Wallin Svensson

Hello,

I have worked at Advantage Law Firm since March 2021. Here I work in several of the firm’s legal areas, with a main focus on migration law, family law, labor law and tenancy law.

With great commitment to humanitarian law
I received my law degree at Uppsala University. During the course of my education, I participated in an exchange semester at University College Dublin with the courses International Family Law, International Human Rights Law, Law of the ECHR, Criminal Liability and Evidence.

My commitment to humanitarian law is rooted in a strong desire to help and represent other people. I am driven by solving everyday legal problems in a purposeful, responsive and inclusive approach in true team spirit.

I wrote my thesis in migration law and international law about the UN Torture Committee’s convictions of Sweden for violations of the prohibition of torture and ill-treatment according to Article 3 ECHR. I have also taken an advanced course in tort law as part of the education. In parallel with the thesis writing, I did an internship at a law firm specializing in migration law and family law.

Social and driven elite athlete
Outside of law, since high school I have played floorball at an elite level in both Stockholm and Uppsala. In addition to floorball, I like to squeeze in a yoga session, a padel match and good food with friends.

Do not hesitate to contact me in your case and I will help you with your questions.
