Sezen Alpek

Hello!

I work as an Associate Lawyer at Advantage Advokatbyrå and handle matters within several of the firm’s areas of practice, with a particular focus on migration law, employment law, family law, consumer law, and contract law.

I obtained my Master of Laws degree from Stockholm University in 2023. During my studies, I also studied at the University of Westminster in London, where I deepened my knowledge in, among other areas, criminal law, procedural law, and human rights.

Before joining Advantage, I worked at the Swedish Tax Agency and at another law firm. I also have experience in commercial law, insurance law, and legal consultancy assignments, and I have previously served as a lay judge at Södertörn District Court. Prior to studying law, I worked in a family-owned business, which has given me a good understanding of the practical realities of running a business and a commercial perspective that I bring with me into my legal work.

I am driven by a desire to help and represent people in legally challenging situations, and I am also involved in voluntary work alongside my professional role, including at a women’s shelter and by providing legal advice at libraries.

I place great importance on ensuring that you, as a client, receive professional and reassuring treatment, clear legal advice, and transparent communication throughout the entire matter. My ambition is to identify the best legal solution based on each client’s individual circumstances.

In addition to Swedish and English, I also speak Turkish and Kurdish.
